Just over half an acre of property with an adorable cordwood cabin rounds of old-growth red cedar and yellow cedar, much of it harvested onsite, were mortared into these 10" thick, insulated walls so winters are warm, and summers are cool. Walls sit on a floating ladder foundation. Doors and windows are framed with red cedar from a nearby mill, and there is an loft for storage and additional sleeping.Located in the remote off-grid community of Oil City, with a hiking trail through the Olympic National Park that leads you to the mouth of the Hoh River where it flows into the Pacific Ocean. The community is down logging roads off the county road and will require all-wheel drive vehicle; some steep hills and gravel roads.
